With nearly 25 years in craft beer, we have seen a lot of challenges, but nothing like we’ve faced over the last few months. Like you, we are looking forward to reopening our doors, and feeling the buzz of excitement rushing through our taproom on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

As excited as we are to reopen, COVID-19 has reminded us that providing a SAFE environment for all of our guests and staff is ALWAYS our top priority. While this has always been our focus here at Victory Brewing Company Downingtown, this pandemic has required us to raise our demanding standards to an even higher level. Therefore, for our reopening, we are implementing a multi-layered safety approach designed to meet and, in some cases, exceed what is being recommended by our state government, the CDC and other health authorities. And, we listened to you, our guests, for guidance. We fielded a survey asking you what you wanted and needed in order to feel safe when you come back to visit us. The over 7,000 responses that we received greatly influenced our reopening plan. So, thank you.

When you join us for a pint and bite, this what you can expect to see when you enter our facilities:

Clean Air

Installed new bi-polar ionization units in our HVAC ductwork. These units generate clean the air by reducing airborne particles and neutralizing pathogens so you can rest assured the air in here is clean, safe and healthy.

About the Brewery

Our Downingtown brewery is located in a repurposed building that was once a Pepperidge Farm manufacturing complex. Our flagship brewery, Downingtown features a 50-barrel ROLEC brewhouse and our first ever proprietary HopVic which we use for fully utilizing the whole flower hops in each brew. Although some of our fermenters were moved to our Parkesburg facility, we still maintain (and use) 35 fermenters, ranging in size from 25 to 400 barrels. In 2013, we maxed out capacity in Downingtown at 107,000 barrels. We currently brew approximately 20,000 barrels annually, including seasonal, R&D, and specialty brews. Currently, all of our barrel aging is done in this location with up to 900 wine and bourbon barrels full of delicious brews aging at a time.

Since then, Victory has increased the size of the restaurant to 300 seats. The brewery has also expanded, producing 125,713 barrels of beer in 2014. As loyal craft beer drinkers continue to show their dedication to flavorful, quality beer, Victory plans to continue its own growth. Onward to Victory!
